A few posts ago I mentioned how excited I was about the new
kanji book I got (and finished in 4 days!). Now I'm going to show you the
inside of it.

First of all, it has a great design. It's laid out nice and simple; first learn 6 new kanji...

Then on the next page there's a quiz, which, granted, for now, is just filling in the same kanji for each four questions.

Then at the end of a few chapters there's a review quiz checking that you know the readings:

and how to write each kanji as well.

At the end of the book there's a fun couple of quizzes to see if you pass to the next level.

There's also a space at the end of the book where you can chart your progress, which could be good for motivation.

I just really liked the book; the feel of the pages, the size of the font, the new words and sentences they teach you using the new kanji. I guess it makes sense to use the same type of book Japanese kids use to learn kanji. I definitely recommend it, if for nothing else because it makes learning kanji fun and easy, and what else do you need?

Now available in a variety of levels. ;)
