八日目の蝉, 読み終えたよ!

I finally finished my book, 八日目の蝉, by 角田 光代 . It took one month.It's the longest book I've read so far in Japanese. Thank goodness for Nakanishi sensei, my old Japanese teacher, who recommended it, and who even from Japan continues to influence my life in a good way.

I just now saw that there's an English translation of this book out, and of her other book, 対岸の彼女. The storyline sounds familiar - I wonder if I didn't start reading this and stop after a couple chapters?.. それより , I wonder what I'll read next? On the one hand, I'm limited to what's available at Book Off; on the other, there are quite a few books there, lol.

Any suggestions?
